Welcome! You have reached the home page of Ashok Prabhu Masilamani. This website was originally started as a resource guide/technical pointer for the domains I used to work or working with (signal integrity, microwave/RF, photonics etc.). Later I decided to include a section about myself too.

    As of now i have split the technical resources into three domains - Electronics (circuits and system design, IC design and FPGAs), Photonics (Fiber optics, photonic device resources) and RF / Microwave (RF design, Signal integrity resources).  Many sections are still incomplete and I hope to complete/update them soon. Also i am trying to constantly update the web links and sorry if you find a dead link.

About myself
 
    I am primarily a doctoral research scholar in nano/micro photonics at University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. I finished my master's research work in Jan 2006 which was a joint research collaboration between National University of Singapore and Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore.     Other than this primary identity, I am a person with a mixture of interests ranging from history, natural history, astronomy, music, cooking etc. Maybe i am little bit of a gadget freak and a HP sleuth as well.
